done! finally!

I've spent the last 4 days working non-stop on my LJ net!fics journal.
All my fic is now cataloged in one place.

1 RPS
13 stand alones/one-offs
14 chapters of Vanishing Act - completed
35 chapters of Commuter Lives series - 30 chapters of Commuter Flight Stories (completed), 5 chapters of Turbulence (WIP)
and 27 chapters (and counting) of Educating Justin (WIP)

You need to be friended, but it's all there and categorized.
If you want to be friended, please be sure to put your DOB on your profile (or reference your account here on IJ).

account maintenance is soooooo time consuming

I've spent the last two days cleaning up my flist on my LJ.

I've moved all my fic posts and much of my flist to my Net!Fics journal.
That allowed me to greatly clean up the flist on my personal journal.
Now I have a trimmed list to a reasonable amount, I'll be able to read, comment and post more often.

Have you abandoned your LJ?

I'm trying to clean up my flist on LJ and restructure my flist into those who want to read my fic v. my livejournal.

I'm moving my fic to my netfics LJ (and probably a parallel universe here on IJ).

But here's the reason I'm asking the question, if you have abandoned your LJ - i.e. you don't post there any more, would you please leave me a comment here so I can clean up my flist?

Thanks in advance!

making the rounds

I must say I like the stats classic - with the music

by version 4 the music is a bit more depressing - and the stats appear to be as well - or perhaps it is the fact that I'm seeing them again and recognizing them for what they are:

In the midnight hour - the best thing on television

For the month of January I had the luxury of not traveling, this resulted in me becoming a vampire and staying up half the night.

It also resulted in my discovering what I think is the best thing on television:

Conversations with Michael Eisner

http://www.cnbc.com/id/15838330

This is a throw back to days of Dick Cavett and David Frost where conversations with guests weren't restricted to a pre-determined conversation in which the person in being interviewed is pimping their latest movie, tv, show

The series allows for a CONVERSATION - more than five minutes interupted by three commercial breaks

The discussions are interesting and satisfying to watch. The guests are interesting and honest and say things that perhaps network brass don't want to hear.

So if you'd like to watch intelligent and interesting, give it a watch.

westminster, more tomorrow night

So far, here's what we got:

Hound Group: Scottish Deerhound
Terriers: Scottish Terrier
Non-Sporting: Standard Poodle
Herding Group: Puli

I bet xie's happy!

A deerhound won the hound group!

Big dogs rule:

1) Scottish Deerhound
2) Irish Wolfhound

so is it me or...

has anyone else noticed how Sarah Palin looks like a bad stripper from a 1980s video - the updo hair, the glasses and the frumpy, boxy suits? Wasn't there a 1980's Billy Idol video with a woman who looked like her?

it so needs to be photoshopped

Okay, so I am taking advantage of an actual day off to catch up on my fandom life.
